As above. Personally I think that the magnetic cable is brilliant in terms of convenience, but it is silly that MS have not produced their own DC cable for sale. Not sure what kind of non-proprietary connector would be viable for the SP3 and it's form factor while retaining the convenience. Micro usb on the S3 has turned out to be an absolute joke.
i have done some research on this. will get something soon. just need to be aware of the connector to power bank, whether is is 2.5mm*5.5mm or whatever. next is to check if there is magnetic feature for the connector to sp3. lastly, check reviews cos i have read about connectors put with wrong polarity even, causing it to be repeled!
mikegyver.com does claim to use original cables to modify. but as expected, theirs is expensive. they have some nice poelrtable battery too.
