Is the Pro 7 Type Cover compatible to SP4?

I need a replacement keyboard, found a good deal barely used from a smashed SP7 for power supply, case and most important the red keyboard - wanted to double check its compatible to the SP4?

I cant find any information for backward compatibility - only forward!

the Pro X and Pro 8 have different connectors for the Typecover and they are not compatible. also true of the Go Typecovers.

you might have to run Windows Update with the Typecover attached to get the right driver.
