Is anyone using the Intel dynamic refresh rate drivers on SP8?

I know Microsoft hasn't released the DRR drivers for SP8 but I understood that the Intel drivers for DRR are available. Has anyone tried them? Any thoughts/problems?

I've used them, they work OK but has caused some instability with some artifacting and screen-tearing
