Apparently there's some Microsoft Office Apps for it... too

Office is also going to be supporting Apple's new stylus, the Apple Pencil.

OK, Who's getting one??? :)

Apple claims performance better than 80% of portable PC's. (A non qualified statement if there ever was one)

Why spend $1200 for an over-priced phone? Office is Office for iPad which is the mobile version....

Because while articles like this about the Urban Myth of enterprise iPad are useful.
iPad Pro: Apple's enterprise-grade offering is an urban myth | ZDNet

There's nothing better than a clumsy demonstration showing just how it works in the real world. :)

To be sure they will be injected into environments whether I want it or not and as much as Id like to take the sales and marketing material at face value it's better to have first hand knowledge.

Let's see... $949 for a 128 GB iPad Pro, plus $99 for the pencil and $169 for the keyboard... that's $1217 for the package.

Compare that to $999 for an SP3 with 128 GB and the pen plus $129 for the keyboard or $1128 for the package.

And just think, the iPad won't even let you attach a file when you reply to an email.

It is truly amazing. We were all thinking that it might be some top of the line device with a special OS or something and this is it. What a bloody joke. The IPAD air 2 with with 64gb of ram is at the same price as the S3, that's a joke enough as it is.

There are a lot of people who can wait to shell out that $1,200.00. If they came out with a Pro2 in 6 months many of them would do it again.

Apple's obscene profits are dependent on an a steady stream of iSheep with more iMoney than iBrains.

I just wanted to draw attention to the Track Pad on the keyboard :) ... oops cant find it... :) well iOS wouldn't know what to do with it anyway. I see it has arrow keys but this is no doubt just for moving within text boxes as iOS doesn't do screen navigation with a cursor that's an app centric text box function only.
