How to update to Windows 10 on SP3?

Hi I reserved my copy of Windows 10 some time ago, and the logo appears on my taskbar since then. Thing is I still haven't received the update notification. Is that normal? How can I do it to update to Windows 10?

There's no way to know when your number is up... it could be in a minute or a few weeks.
If you don't want to wait you can initiate the update in the Media Creation Tool

Are you by any chance outside the USA? That seems to be a hangup for some. And some systems still haven't even gotten the notification.

Don't worry about being outside of the USA, so am I.

Just go to this page: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Download the relevant version and go through the process. It will allow you to select your language etc. I have done this with my SP3 and laptop.

My laptop is loads faster with Windows 10.

Some countrie have it, some don't, which is why I asked. Microsoft's servers have been slammed with the upgrades so they are trying to pace the release.

Yeah, I think that's why I didn't get my notification, but I was impatient and had to have it now
