How to include screen shots

I think the subject line says it all. There are a number of YouTube presentations, but they are more confusing than instructive. I am looking for a simple 1), 2), 3)…… sequence of how to go about to include a screen shot into a post.

1. Take a screen shot. Store it somewhere.
2. Make a post.
3. Click “Upload a file” at the bottom of your post. Choose the file.

This is surprisingly simple. I was expecting a complex procedure involving Image Hosting and then some more.
I will try it soon in an appropriate post.
