How can I connect my surface to my TV?

With any type of mini-displayport adapter to (displayport/hdmi) where the latter depends on what connection you have on your tv. Can be found cheap on eBay

Or you could do it wirelessly using Miracast

I tried Miracast but it's not really portable. I like to show my PPT using my surface during meetings so the cable will be much easier.

Hmmm....even the Netgear PTV3000 is smaller than a deck of cards and the Dongles are the same size as a large thumb drive....now if you have to carry the cable and as well then that is a different story, but you will still need the Mini-DP to HDMI adapter of some sorts...

I just ordered HDMI D-A on that website I mentioned and according to their website, I don't need an adapter.
