Okay.
Hi all, again.

Cut a long story short I bought a Surface RT on release date a few years ago now and didn't enjoy the experience. I signed up to these forums on the days running upto their release and spoke with members on a run up. After a botched pre-order, shipping and release in the UK and a faulty Surface RT which was delivered a returned my surface a month later for a full refund.

Anyway, I'm here now biting the bullet one more time and finding my experience much improved on a Surface Pro 3. I love the type cover, the machine is stupidly fast for the form factor, the screen is brilliant and the sound quality is good too. The pen feel and writing capabilities are impressive and the overall performance has really blown me away.

I've got on my desk, two other monitors, Surface Pro 3 and a dock.
I've got the i7 Model, 8GB Ram and 512GB SSD.

I'm now really asking, for portability, when I'm away from my desk what accessories has everyone bought that they now find themselves unable to live without? Any good protective bags to throw this thing into my car in? What Bluetooth mice are good for it? Currently don't have any accessories of this sort and want to get a good bag and mouse for moving around.

Also open to any other accessories (or software) you find yourself using all the time which enhances this thing (if possible).

Decal Girl skins work pretty darn well for protection - https://www.decalgirl.com/skins/Microsoft-Surface-Pro-3-Skins

And a hack for the pen loop - crimp it and put it on the kickstand instead of anywhere else . makes it REALLY easy to use. Presents it like an actual pen holder in almost any position the kickstand is in.. and then folds flat when you close it all up...

You can't go wrong with any BT mouse. I have one from 6 years ago and it still syncs with my SP3 adequately.
