If you wait you might be waiting a long time...
Some of those cheap cables are not worth even $10 ... check the reviews and try your luck you can try several for the price of a Mikegyver cable. ;) I seem to recall seeing one for around 20 that looked promising.

I'm shocked and appalled they haven't made the power cover for the 3. it's a shame. lucky I don't have a sp3 I have a 2. but if I did have a 3 I would get a power cover for the 2 I hear it works just fine

Ok, I won't wait then. But is that product a good choice for that price? Or do you have other suggestions ?
I don't want to pay too much, price/performance ratio is important. 26000 mAh extra battery looks nice,
imo I can even play games on the go with the support of this battery. I currently have a 10400mAh for ipads and phones,
but since Sp3 can't be charged through usb, I will sell this battery. (I was using it for my ipad)
I'm looking for one around 80-100 dollars, if there's a better alternative I would want to know.
Also since I don't live in the US, shipping prices are important.

Looks like the identical piece of hardware as the ianker astro pro2 that i own, which is a brilliant battery.

The cable is the only crap shoot imo.

Totally agree with that.

I'm not using an ext battery because I don't really need one but this is on my short list if I needed one. The comment by one reviewer gave me pause... {shocked by the *size* of the unit}. ... but its a battery so yeah its got bulk. This would probably give you roughly half your current battery life additional. larger capacities mostly seem to go to the brick style power pack and the price ratchets up with capacity.

On cables Id just go with most popular on Amazon absent any other evidence...
candidates that look promising...

Yeah, its pretty much the size of a dvd case, a lot heavier. But because of the slim design, just slides straight into my bag alongside my devices. I've used mine very little, but has proven invaluable on camping trips etc. Can recharge my phone, a tablet, my camera etc.
