People who own the WD TV Live plus may have the idea to watch Blu-ray movies with WDTV live, but the WD TV can't play Blu-ray directly. In fact, we can rip Blu-ray to MKV format that supported by WD TV live, then, we can easily use WD tv to playback.

In this case, it’s necessary to own Bytecopy. It's your best tool to rip and convert Blu-ray movies and DVDs to MKV container format with multiple audio tracks and subtitle sincluded. It also could rip and convert Blu-ray/DVD to any video format you like.

The following short guide shows you how to convert a Blu-ray/DVD to MKV with original video, audio and subtitles.

Software Download: Pavtube ByteCopy

Step 1. Run Pavtube ByteCopy software, put source Blu-ray/DVD into ROM, Click “Load Disc” to import movie titles from Blu-ray/DVD. The software decrypts Blu-ray/DVDs of all regions. Here I take DVD movie Step brothers for instance.

Step 2. Choose MKV format as output, here “Format > Multi-track Video > Lossless/encoded Multi-track MKV (*.mkv)” is recomended for you.

Note: If you want to combine multiple MKV files into one, please check the "Merge into one file" option.

Step 3. Click the “Convert” button to copy Blu-ray/DVD movie to MKV with original video, audio and mutiple subtitles. The process takes about 10mins. When it completes, click “Browse Export Path” to find generated MKV file with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio and multiple subtitles included.
