Don't forget to protect your Windows 10 machine from malware

Windows Defender is quite good.
But some malware sneaks in anyway, or is accidentally cleared to enter your system when you download other items.

Be sure to check for malware and similar threats, even under Windows 10. There are plenty of good products available. No particular product is endorsed here.

Good point. I find that some "malware" is more nagware than dangerous but can affect the system's performance. A good rule is to always do a custom install of any third party software closely watch what you are agreeing to.

Some software has gotten very tricky in that there are screens that appear during the install that say something to the effect, Accept or Decline and make you think you are accepting the installation of the software but it is really an unwanted add-ons.
