Docking Station wont recognise monitor

Hi,

I've just bought a docking station for my surface 3. The surface worked great with an external monitor (it still does) but I cant get the same result via the display port on the docking station.

I'm sure someone else has had this problem. Any help gratefully received.

Same problem here. Microsoft suggests to buy a certain brand of the cable listed on their trouble shooting page. I just order a mdp<>dp cable. I will update here after I get the cable.

With the new cable, it still doesn't work.

I got the replacement dock from Microsoft today, and it just works!!
So there is an issue with the dock I am sure!
