Solved Display Adapter not getting audio on TV

I am not getting audio from the TV anymore from my Surface Pro 3. I get audio through the Surface. It works fine from my PC and used to work from my Surface.

When I look at the "sound: in control panel, I see "Digital Output" working properly, but in events I see "Device SWD\WiFiDirect\2a:18:78:9c:ff:8f#Miracast requires further installation."

I've tried the troubleshooter to no avail

I am having an identical problem with my Microsoft Display adapter. I can see the video but no audio. I guess the display adapter needs a new driver for Windows 10. I'll Google and see if anyone has found a remedy.

Hi, on my SP3 I cannot now get anything from MDP to HDMI. Think it is the first time I've tried since upgrade to W10. The setting is correct (duplicate) although I am trying on different TVs, both Toshibas as I'm currently away from home. Does anyone have any ideas, please. Tried reboots etc. Thanks

I uninstalled the adapter and reinstalled. It works again.
