Disconnect a Bluetooth device?

Does anyone know how to disconnect a Bluetooth device without removing it? I have a Jambox Bluetooth speaker and when I no longer want to use the speaker I would like to simply disconnect. The only way I can see to do this is to remove the device then pair it up again later.

Turning off the Bluetooth device, or turning off the Bluetooth of the device is what I do, and this is not specific to the RT. On both my cars, I turn on the Bluetooth of my phone before a drive, and turn off the Bluetooth of the phone after the drive. Simple.
