Disable haptic feedback

I have disabled the windows button on the screen but it still vibrates when I touches it. Even worse, it vibrates erratically without anything touching it, making a very audible buzzing sound at every few seconds(!), and even with the type cover on!! This is very annoying when I just want to work quietly. Can this be fixed?
