Charging Assy?

Was thinking of getting an additional charging assy. MS Store has them for $79, Amazon has them for about 1/2 that.
Anything better than the original from MS?

There seems to be a USB type slot on the charger I got with the 3, is that what it is? If so what is it for?

Had the 3 for a few days now, love it.

The USB port on the charger is for charging or powering a USB powered device... with limits. It's a USB power Port only no data capability.

Not aware of anyone claiming to have a better charger, there's cheaper and crap.
