cell phone providers

I have been thinking about getting a Smart Phone but there is a drawback. Because if I got a Smart Phone I would hate to lose the convenience of having phones in every room of our home --- including the bathrooms. Especially there.

Is there any cell phone provider that allows us to keep our home phones on the same number and use the home phone number for our cell phone too?

I would like to wind up with a Smart Phone and our land lines all on the same number.

Is that possible?

All the major cell phone providers could port your home landline to a cell phone but you can have both at the same time.

Those options might work, but I was hoping to eliminate one bill. I can go this route if I have to but am hoping to figure something else out although the odds don't look too promising
