Can't figure out how to customize slide-to-close-app background colour?

Hey guys, new to these forums.

I recently found out that you can close apps by sliding from the top of the screen to the bottom.
The app shrinks, flips over, and then you release to allow it to close.
My only issue is that when I do this, the colour that surrounds the app is a bold purple.
I would love to change this colour, but I cannot find an option for it in the personalisation area of the settings.
Any help would be much appreciated!

swipe for the charms bar (swipe the right side of the screen) > settings > personalization

you should be able to tweak from there.
