Broken wifi after may 14 update

Well I was just fine browsing and gaming and stuff then I went to school and turned off my wifi. I came back home and updated with yesterday's package (May 14) then browsed some more .went back to school and it wouldn't connect to the wifi (just when I need it it craps out), then I go home and its still acting up.

When I connect it shows its exchanging data and connected, but It will sit and try to load then chrome will tell me 'ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT'.

I've tried refreshing all the drivers manually under the device manager, using the network trouble shoot program thingy, rebooting my router and restarting my surface. Not too sure where to go from here.

I've had issues connecting to "some" WiFi's after the update too.

Have you only installed the Updates for Windows? Because i installed them too plus an System Hardware update (from march 2014) which Windows update showed me since yesterday.

well for some reason the last update put google chrome on the block list for bitdefender. I turned off the fire wall for a bit and it worked perfect again.

My WiFi is working ok now; wasn't SP2 related.
