J Johnny365 Member Nov 17, 2015 #3 If you are talking about the 1 year hardware warranty (and not Microsoft Complete), then it's pretty much up to the representative on the phone/chat or at the Microsoft store on whether they will replace it (for free) or if you have to pay $300.
