Bluetooth Interferes with Internet HELP

WiFi, I presume?
Is this your own WiFi?
Happens at home, work, school, everywhere? Every room at home?

If at home on your own router, change your WiFi channel. Your channel or a neighbor's configuration may be causing the interference.

My Surface Pro's internet speed drops from 145 mbps to 65 mbps when I connect my wedge mouse via bluetooth. Sometimes it just drops the connection completely. Will this solve my issue? http://www.amazon.com/Edimax-EW-7811Un-Wireless-Adapter-Wizard/dp/B003MTTJOY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1383224257&sr=8-1&keywords=wireless n usb adapter

My surface is up to date on 8.1 and everything says that the Marvell driver is running correctly.
I can neither confirm or deny but I have seen other people post having a similar problem.

The solution Sharp suggests may work for you.
OTOH the adapter you referenced may alleviate the issue but if not your only out $8.50. Probably worth a try to find out. you may have to download the driver from:

I had a dropout issue when using a Bluetooth mouse. I changed the channel on the router. That worked. I also tried 5Ghz on the router and Surface. that cures the problem too, but the 5Ghz has too limited a range for me to use all of the time. So I fall back to 2.5Ghz, channel 3.

I'm pretty sure it's everywhere. And I cannot access the router as I connect to my landlord's.

Yea it didn't work out! I was so mad but yea only like $10 so it was worth a try.

Is there not some update I can do? Some patch that I can download to fix the issue? Is this happening to everyone?

Remove your adapter driver, and let Windows replace it from your driver folder. Let's try that.

Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, (top of list) Device Manager, Marvell AVASTAR...
