8.1 sound recorder app question

Will someone with the preview please check and see how the sound recorder app functions for me? Does it keep recording if you leave the app and go to the desktop or launch other apps? Does it continue if your SP goes to sleep while it's recording? Thanks!

Well, I installed the preview in a VM and it looks like the recorder app will pause if you switch to other apps unless you have it snapped. Kind of a bummer. I guess I'll have to continue using the original sound recorder desktop app to record meetings because I can jump around and do what ever I want with it in the background.
