Yes. I love the type cover on my S3. I don't think I would enjoy using the device nearly as much without it.

Just tried Jabber on mine and it also doesn't seem to work with the camera. I suspect we will need a update to jabber.

The Surface RT does not have an active digitizer and even if it did I do not think the functionality you are looking for is available.

I can tell you that SQL is very sluggish. I remote into my workstation when I need to do anything there. It is still pretty amazing how well the S3 performs however. I hope the next version will have a SSD.

The mail and cal issues have nothing to do with W10, I am using them with EAS from work no issue. Your IT Dept will need to approve your device. The OneNote metro app was changed significantly. Try using the desktop version.

As jnroach stated it's part of EAS Security Policy. We limit the choice on our devices to 15min.

I forgot my S3 charger today and tried a iPad Air 2 charger, a ecig charger, a battery designed to charge tablet etch with 2.1 amp and a micro USB plugged into a charge port on a PC. All of them would charge for a couple of min and then go to plugged in but...

Yup this is your Corporate policies. If I have mine on EAS or the domain it does the same. I had to make a collection in SCCM and in AD to keep it from happening.

I have used both a wired Xbox 360 controller I picked up from goodwill for two bucks and my Xbox One controller connected via USB with no issues. I played Portal 2 the other night for a couple hours. I was actually amazed how well the S3 ran it.

To me 2gb simply is not enough. If you can stretch and spend the extra 100 for the 4gb model you should.
