Have a look at mysms. I use it on Android and it forwards my texts to my surface. I don't think it will solve the imessage question though.

The surface 3 uses ntrig pen technology rather than wacom.

That's the same one that comes with the pro. Have a look at amazon if you're looking for an extra charger. I picked one up used a few months ago for $40. It looked brand new and is the genuine Microsoft one.
