Lenny, I sent everything back except for the retail box... new device was received in a retail box, so now I have two...

I just received my exchange.... it was a BRAND NEW UNIT in the sealed box. I was told they are not servicing them yet as their policy for now is too exchange them for a new device.

Any updates? still waiting on mine. :(

Has anyone received their replacement yet? They have had mine since yesterday morning and I was wondering how long the process takes and what was actually received back from them. Mine was sent to Laredo Texas.

Thank you for the suggestion. I got in touch with probably the best support rep I have ever talked to. Currently they do not offer a download for the recovery partition, so an exchange was setup for the device. I thankfully was promised (in writing) that the device I would receive in exchange...

Well as it would happen I backed up my partition to a USB drive, stuck in a drawer only to find out the my amazing wife formatted it to use it for work. My mistake for not letting her know what was on it. So is there a way or a place I can download this recovery partition? Thanks!

I calibrated the clear text and it makes the text a little better. Is there a place to adjust the LCD settings (color contrast)?

Thanks everyone for all of the suggestions, I will be home in about an hour and will try these out. Also this is not my first tablet, I believe this is my 10th ranging from the iPad, multiple android tablets, most recently the nexus 10 which had a higher res than the pro.

Hello SF, I have had the surface pro for about 3 weeks now and fear I may have to return it. I have the hardest time focusing on text on the screen even though I have "perfect" vision. It just seems like my eyes take a second to focus in on the text and most of the time it ends up looking...
