I fixed this problem using the same method that you used in the youtube video 5 days after I made the post but thought I was alone on this since no one posted anything. Glad to know I was not alone.

When I boot my Surface pro I used to get a black boot screen and now I get a red boot screen. Is this normal. I can not find anything about this. Should I return the surface?
