That sounds like the Surface RT or the Surface 2 to me. If you have a laptop or PC at home, then you could use your Skydrive (cloud storage) and Evernote to keep both devices sort of up to date... Switching between apps in the Surface RT is great...just remember, if you have a 8-16 GB of RAM...

I am so getting the S2 with 32GB...it was amazing last week during a meeting how I was the only one able to update a Power Point right on the spot, while iPad users...well...they just were not able to.

I think the mistake is comparing the Surface PRO with an iPad...iPad is just a fun screen with a lot of games. I mean, have you really tried (after purchasing the apps) to work on excel or on a presentation on your iPad? I have an iPad Mini (used to have iPad 1st Gen), Acer Iconia A500...

Well, as far as slow downloading I would blame it on your internet provider. I have 1 Hotmail account and several GMail accounts and all of them work flawlessly. Shall we stop asking for a laptop-mail-client experience on a tablet? Have you tried sending multiple images/pictures from an iPad?

And keep in mind that Apple's new iPads every-3-months-releases comes from the need to keep up with the competition such as Samsung, Surface, etc...
