I've spent more time trying to get things to work on my surface than I have browsing and having fun. This is a tablet not a pc. It should be easy to do things. I'm going to return my surface on the way to the apple store. Life is just too short.

So why can it be played on the iPad?

Oh for Gawd sakes. I was using Safari on the iPad not some special browser. This may be the straw that breaks the camels back.

Sorry, I know how to do the long cut, I was referring to the shortcut. I think its odd that Microsoft made the software with an unchangeable shortcut that doesn't exist on the hardware they also created.

Yes, but this is Windows RT, not 8. And for all the limitations we have to accept, there should be an exception. It's a helluva lot easier to use an SD card on my jellybean droid.

Thanks Jeff, I would have never figured this out on my own. I love these forums! I'm downloading as I type. And way to go Microsoft for keeping with tradition and making it as tough as humanly possible to get a simple update. (couldn't resist)

Is the full version of Office H/S out yet? My surface has all the windows updates, it's been restarted and I still have the preview edition. The associate at the Microsoft kiosk told me it's already available and I should have it.
