Got my surface from Staples yesterday. Having so much fun with it...

Just got my surface yesterday. Been spending most of today having fun with it. I ran the music app, but it's saying that it can't sign in. Have an internet connection but it's not signing in to Xbox live. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks

Good morning. I'm trying to decide between a Windows Surface Tablet or a new Windows 8 laptop with a touchscreen. I know it's a matter of opinion, but am looking for thoughts/suggestions or input from those that may be lucky enough to have both. Thank you.
