I just got this one in black: Acme Made Nopa Mini - eBags.com. A Surface Pro with touch cover fits very snug with a tiny but sticking out the padded area but it's exactly what I was looking for, basically not much more than a padded sleeve that can double as a bag on its own.

Not quite true. The iPad cover can be used in two positions, upright vertical and angled horizontal. I wish the Surface could do the second position also.

Yeah, I've had my Pro for just over a week now and it already has 2 light scratches on the back near the camera. Have no idea where they came from since I baby it so I'm guessing it'll be pretty scratched up by the time I'm looking to trade up to the Pro 2 next year.

Checked it out myself today. the screen is really nice and they set it to scale in desktop mode so it's still usable and not tiny text. Very fast and responsive. Nice machine though the battery is a deal breaker for me so I went Atom instead.
