Sometimes surface keyboard recognition abruptly changes out of nowhere. It happens at least once a month. Sometimes it lasts for hours. Last time, if I press "1" then surface thinks it was "!". So I try caps lock on. It still thinks it's "!". So I try SHIFT+1. But it still thinks it is "!"...
