Well, here is my first of many. I LOVE drawing on this thing!!! When I was erasing, I actually wiped the screen as if it was a sketchbook... that's how great the experience is. This is called "A Bad Day to be a Death Mage"

As an update to this post... I've gone with the SP4 i5/8/256. The balance of cost to power won me over. I have full function with or without my keyboard on the SP4. Losing 3/4 of my battery power and all of my ports in tablet mode on the Book made it impractical for my entire use case...

Annnnd looks like you were right. The SP4 won me over with it's balance of power and cost as compared to the SB. Thanks again for your advice and feedback.

Wow! Great food for thought... if I consider the cost of the base SB, I could get a very hearty SP4 losing an inch of screen space. Looks like I'll be spending a lot of time in the MS Store this weekend playing prior to my purchase. Thank-you everyone for your feedback.

How is the sp4 more flexible? Fridays coming and I feel on the fence now. It's the screen and drawing space that has me hooked. Being able to surf like a laptop on the couch makes a big difference for me too. I love my sp2, screen space is the only complaint

I think ram has the bigger impact on performance. When your storage gets low, you will notice an impact to performance but if your current device hasn't left you hanging for over three years, I think you're good. imho
