you will need to use mini DP and a USB plug ro make touchscreen work, then you will have to set the SP3 to turn the screen off when you dock as the 3.2 screen ratio and resolution will not play nice with multi monitors and touch.

The cheapest i can find a screen with digitizer for on a SP 3 is 340.00 USD on eBay . Remember that you need the right revision number for it which means taking yours off first and reading the revision number on the back of the screen. if your cracked screen holds out another 6 months or a year...

Looks like a battery fault to me If it were me I would backup my info and do a clean install of windows 10 or reset tablet which will re install windows 8.1. That seems to clear up many issues for me on any machine I work on where I suspect a software issue on an upgrade version of windows 10...
