So, any SP4 i7 rumors floating around? I've heard a rumor that I don't like - it's that 11/20 is the earliest possible ship date for our SP4s. afaik no one who pre-ordered an i7 has seen any auth charges on credit card yet, which supposedly should show up a few days before shipment......

Every Skylake chip is 14nm. No exceptions. As far as the SP4 is concerned, only the i7 model (6650U) has any amount of eDRAM (aka L4 cache. 64MB in our case) which is there to power Iris integrated graphics. The CPU also gets a small boost from this cache when igpu is not working at full tilt...
