Since I have one on order, the changes or improvements I most want to see is software support for the dial. I want Microsoft and 3rd parties to embrace the hell out of it.

The I7, 16GB memory and the lower end GPU. My work needs are more Visio and whiteboarding rather than heavy graphics. I do use photoshop personally and edit a little video.

Let's call it a poor man's Surface Hub for 1 person. I draw everything in meetings from network diagrams to process flows to brainstorming sessions where you toss everything on a wall. I've lost some of that ease now that I telecommute and I thought about the smaller Surface Hub, but just too...

Does anyone know if the camera "tilts" and stays locked on a person's face when the screen is tilted down in a drafting position?? The use case is in a Skype of Business meeting and being able to screen share and draw on the "surface" while people still see the person's face.

My Surface Book is now "good enough" with the many updates and the remaining problems are minor to me. In other words, the remaining problems aren't so big that I'm willing to take the financial hit of selling this to move into something else. Am I recommending this to anyone? The opposite...

I liked my Thinkpad Yoga - handed it down to my Mom after I bought my SB. My wife also has a Thinkpad Yoga. I don't see the old or new model as competition for the SB, but it would be my top pick still for a convertible.

Of course I spoke too soon. Display driver stopped twice already today.

So far, much better experience. My cursor has not went missing at boot or coming out of sleep, audio is not popping, and no display driver stops. I am not using Edge at all, mostly IE with some Chrome. I was almost ready to return this thing before the update and now it looks like I'll hang...

Twice now on boot, the trackpad hasn't worked. I had to reboot to get it back.
