Just had mine freeze and had to hold the on button for 15 seconds to get it to shutdown. I was swapping the screen to put the keyboard behind the screen.

I have a power point that BSOD’s my Surface Book while it is in clipboard mode. It doesn’t do it when it it’s in laptop mode. I’m only guessing, but I bet it’s using the GPU in the keyboard. I will have to confirm this, but it definitely doesn’t do it when it’s in laptop mode.

Is there a way to force an update for the Insider builds? I put my Surface Book on the fast ring last night and still nothing. :(

I’m not seeing very good battery life either. I have two Surface Books and both of them have been in standby most of the day. The batteries in both Surface Books went from 100% to about 50%.

@SeanP I agree. the screen wobble doesn't bother me a bit either. It is a very nice machine. I love the fact that it has a real keyboard. I have Office 2016 installed, will have to test OneNote pretty quick here. It is a very nice machine.

In the “Search the web and Windows” type in “System Information” and pull up the program that comes up. About halfway down the page you should see memory and such. You can also do CTR-ALT-DEL then click “Task Manager” and then click the Performance tab, it should give you memory and CPU info there.

My Surface Book has been sitting in a Fed Ex Building that is about a 10-minute drive from my house since 4:00 yesterday. Sucks having to wait all weekend knowing how close it is. :)

Mine had the same issue. Now I understand why it was saying Delivery for Monday when I first looked. Mine left Shanghai, CN about 3 hours ago, so it’ll probably reach the US this afternoon.

I got the delivery notification from Fed Ex, but on MS’ website it still says “In Process”, but it’s definitely going to be here on the 26 according to Fed Ex.

Same here. My credit card was charged too. The credit card company detected a fraud charge too and sent me an e-mail to confirm. I see a charge pending on the CC, so hopefully they didn’t decline it.

Being out in the field is a bit different. The only time my stuff goes outside is when I’m outside in the summer drinking a beer. All I need to do is make sure I don’t spill my beer on it. :)
