Let me clarify something that seems to have been missed, I use a type cover on my surface 3 and the only time it comes off is if I am using Skype in bed, if I did not own a type cover then I would hesitate about a screen protector. I now realise my question may have been worded a bit funny.

Well after the update to the system firmware I seem to be getting faster browser speeds but I did tweak my router settings so ill try downloading a file at a friends house and test.

So I hope this doesn't sound stupid but I have checked all the normal places to look for this option, I want to disable the touch click on the touchpad so it only has physical click to select items as I constantly find myself touch tapping links I don't want to open.
