I tried that as well and it didn't work

I just loaded those drivers onto usb and tried a restore hooked to dock and it could not find the server. I tried it twice and then tried with my j5 usb to Ethernet and that worked. I am not sure how you got it to work

Dzik...the restore wizard that boots from the WS2012E does not support the Ethernet even with the drivers. That is what the whole topic is. Both of us have tried it with all the drivers, docking station, and usb to Ethernet.

It booted directly. It was a flawless restore

I searched High and Low and found drivers and yet it still wouldn't work . I cannot get the Surface Book dock Ethernet to work in a restore to my WS2012E server. I even went and bought the USB to Ethernet from Microsoft and that didn't work either. I finally went to best buy and bought this...

I did put them on a sub and it still didn't work. I had to buy a different use to Ethernet adapter and WA able to get it to recognize. Why the hell is the Microsoft Ethernet adapter not recognized on system restore. That is the lamest thing I have ever seen.

So I have tried all day to do a full system restore from my Windows Server 2012 Essentials R2 and cannot get it to work. It seems that the Network Adapter is not recognized in the Full System Restore Wizard. I have tried it on my new Surface dock and even went out and bought the Surface...

I already had drivers on USB for the Ethernet and it didn't work

It then cannot find the server...so its something to do with the network in docking station

I get it to boot to my 2012 essentials but once in the restore wizard it does not see a network adapter. I am using the new surface dock
