So what your saying is there shouldnt be any reason to recover from an image if you are able to at least access the recovery screen. That it is just as good (if not better) to let windows recover itself? thanks

So, in the past there has been that hidden rule of its always bad to upgrade windows, clean install is always best. But with Windows 10, is it worth it upgrade my existing windows 8.1 installation to windows 10 insider preview and then on to the final version of 10? Or, again, will it be best...

Well i gave up on trying to get 158 via windows update. Found and ISO, entered in some random cd key when it asked and im up and running. Anyone know if this will cause any issues on 7/29 when final version comes out? Or am I going to want to clean install regardless at that time?

I fresh installed 10130 last night so I could get the new build via update. I enabled fast ring and updated everything I could including firmware. But I am still on build 10130 and it keeps telling me there are no updates. Anyone know why? Thanks!

I got it to install fine on SP3 but once it goes to sleep automatically it will not wake up. Both times I let it go to sleep it wouldn't wake up. I have to fight to get it to turn back on again after forcing it to shut down.

One more small bug, sometimes when i hit the windows key on the bottom left when start menu is already open, it just keep's re-opening it instead of closing it. Or worse, I'll hit it and both the windows, icons, and start menu dissapear leaving me with the task bar and a wallpaper and nothing...

The only issue I am running into so far is changing the start menu layout. Sometimes it will lock up and crash. This will leave no start menu, no desktop icons, and a ghost of the icon I was attempting to move. Eventually the desktop will work again but that ghost icon will not go away until...
