    Microsoft Wireless Adapter?

Please follow this link: http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3052469 but the driver/fix is available for SP2 & 3 only according to MS. Since I have SP3 I contacted MS TS and they sent me the new display drive which should fix the Miracast issues. Unfortunately, the fix doesn't work, the...

    Microsoft Wireless Adapter?

I contacted the MS TS and they sent me the new driver (117MB file). Installed on my SP3 i7/256 and the version of the driver is 10.18.14.4080. Reboot and tried Screen Mirroring on my 2 Sony TV sets (KDL-50W800B and XBR-49X850B). In both cases I was able eventually to connect but connection was...

Why can you only have 5 PDFs open at once?

More expensive option would be PDF Annotator (http://www.pdfannotator.com/en/) if you are looking for solution other then just Metro App.

Can someone explain Miracast and streaming tech with surface?

I have to say I gave up on wireless connection to Sony TV sets after trying it for couple of days. I have Sony BRAVIA XBR-49X850B (bought mid January 2015) and BRAVIA KDL-50W800B (bought last week). Connection problems I experienced are not very consistent if we consider the fact both TV sets...

    Frustrating SP3, PowerPoint problem

I'm not saying that Camtasia is the source of the problem and before you do anything please contact Camtasia Technical Support and see what they would suggest.

    Frustrating SP3, PowerPoint problem

I think olimjj suggested to start Task Manager and confirm that only processes running are PowerPoint and Camtasia. Wonder if you update Office or Camtasia recently. I would try to uninstall Camtasia, run Windows 8.1 update and then install Camtasia back. Another option you may try to uninstall...

Where does SP3 rank in your Top 3 favourite tech/gadgets?

How is the inking on your Note 4? I have a Note 2 but using s-pen is very challenging:) In comparison to SP3 it is like light years behind. I tried few times but gave up after couple of minutes, very difficult to predict when and where the ink is going to be place on the page. Absolutely useless.

Slow scrolling in modern UI Internet Explorer is jerky, choppy and not smooth

OP, looks like you have a problem with SP3 in general. If I were you I would run back to the place you purchase your device from and try to return for full refund.

Slow scrolling in modern UI Internet Explorer is jerky, choppy and not smooth

I have the same unit you do, SP3 i7 256GB. Tried the google.de and 'cat' search as well as Media Markt.de and in both cases the scrollong was smooth, pages loaded very fast. I didn't experience any hesitation no matter how fast or slow I moved my finger in any direction on the screen.

When I bought my SP3 I received the Maroo Sleeve for free and this is what I use when on the road (http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/maroo-maroo-microsoft-surface-pro-3-sleeve-brown-grey-mr-ms3307/10320394.aspx). Week ago purchased Phantom Glass Premium Screen Protection System...

Surface Pro 3 bends by itself due to heat

My i7 after 3 weeks is OK. Wonder if the problem is caused by the battery. 4 years ago my 1 year old MacBook Pro (15") needed a new battery because the original one got bended to the point I couldn't type because the laptop was bouncing up and down. When I removed the battery and placed on the...
