Thanks it did help as i read it and i remove the physical keyboard and now it aparently seems to be working.... the ink to text in the one note desktop seems to be workin now which makes me much happier too jnjroach Im still curious on one thing..... How do i set this desktop one note...

What the hell could be disabling the function ? I dont think so.....but to make sure imma try to take a picture of the virtual keyboard for you to see. Also i will take a pic of the installed software programs i have in the control panel....... Can you tell me the name of this option...

I have turned off the pc many times since yesterday when i started the topic...... here is a picture that shows all files are up to date ´ i dont seem to be able to take a picture of the virtual keyboard.......but if you know a way to do it i can try to show you...

Thanks for the help jnjroach, i have found the button, its in the virtual keyboard but that input option button you posted on first picture is not available in mine.... its just grey so when i click on top it does nothing........ what now ? o_O

hmmmmmmmmmmm i have no idea where to find such button, its obviously not in the type cover.....its also not in the virtual keyboard......... and i dont see it in one note either............ whats the meaning of taskbar ? if its the inicial windows screen its not there either...... can you...

i also read that onenote is a free program, but when i downloaded the pne note desktop it says your trial has expired and asks for a key....... is this normal ?

ok......2 questions : 1 - can this desktop version be activated with the pen click aswell ? 2 - i have the feeling this version im using in windows 8.1 is not also able to to handwriting recognition, can you confirm that jnjroach ? all the best

I knew i was right. But if they are saved directly into the cloud how come the cloud does not have a save - export option ???? Tiago

very cool jnjroach....... but since i am in windows 8.1 version of one note how to i get to that file menu on the left ? i tried clicking everywhere and cant find how to.......

i must be doing this in a real dumb way...... when i lasso my handwriting it just doesnt show the option of convrt to text..... only basic options like copy, paste and etiquette and then mark as favorite or add as contact. also the first video in this post is not the same version of onenote...
