Apple doesn't want you to run it on anything but their devices so they can control and corner the market. I for one will not be dropping 1k+ to run their OS. I will however take the time and run it on my own computers if I feel like it.

My note 3 doesn't like the charging port of the SP3. It says charging is slow for faster charging use original charger.

I haven't been impressed with dell in years. Even selling them in Staples I have had a lot of them come back in a few weeks after purchase. Dell loves using proprietary components ( I know SP3 is in the same boat). If I were you I would stick with the SP3.

Honestly I have used and tried a lot of different protections out there. The free ones work IF your smart and already know what to look out for. Norton is junk hands down not too mention getting out of the protection field soon for homes. The biggest infection type I see now a days is Malware...

I don't need the windows partition to boot from it I need the boot loader which should recognize a external drive to boot into mac.

I have my reasons, I use to be a primary mac fanboy. However I jumped ship went android phone and back to my windows roots. Just want to have the mac on there for the entertainment stand point.

Keyboard and mouse will suffice, I don't see the need to impliment the touch features into the dual boot.
