I found i7 does the complicated tasks very easily , but the issue is with Chrome, It really consumes lot of processing power and was causing battery drain issues both in i5 & i7 . Most of the Applications are not scaled enough to handle Surface Pro 3s Resolution . I know its a temporary issue...

I found that battery difference with my usage with i7 & i5 are very similar. So I preferred i7 , It really really performs well when you required power on demand.

it was digitizer issue. I have exchanged it for i7. Now I got two i7 Sp3s.

I read some complaints related to Lot No : 1429 , 1428 were having issues . The same happened to my i5 SP3 . After exchange I got lot 1430 for i7 and 1431 for i5. Lot No can be found on side of SP3 Box . " LOT NO. / DATE : 1431 "

Actually its an Hardware issue , I have exchanged it . Now i5 Does Pretty good job. Roughly i7 is 1.4 times faster than i5. Worth your money.

One for my Wife(i5) and one for me(i7) .. unfortunately.. She is complaining she had an issue with Pen input , its not working in some parts of screen.

I have pre ordered my Pro 3 , i5 & i7 3 months before . Now I got those in Hand . Fortunately I got lot 1430 . I will post comparison review between i5 & i7 (both are 256 , 8gb ) tonight. Installing Firmware updates is going . So far 43 FW updates were there.

Thanks for your reply , But Still I will go with SP3 ,I will try to IE in Battery Mode and Chrome in Charging Mode . This will resolve my issues . I'm expecting google to address this High DPI Chrome issue ASAP. Im going to be the first person to collect my SP3s tomorrow on official launch...

Im getting my First i7(me) & i5(for my wife) SP3 tomorrow Morning , What is the actual Battery life impact ? 1/2 hour to 1 hour in real time scenario ? Because I use Chrome all the times.
