    Boot Up Screen Flashes White

Interesting... Hopefully Microsoft can resolve these issues with next update.

    Boot Up Screen Flashes White

It's good to know that I'm not the only one with the issue. Although, I do not have the issue when waking from sleep, only when booting. Interestingly, I had a look at someone's i5/128 and it didn't have the issue. I have the i7/512 so perhaps it's only an issue with the i7 models.

    Boot Up Screen Flashes White

I just noticed that when I boot up my Surface, the entitre screen will flash white, very quickly right before and after the boot logo appears. It boots up fine and isn't really a big deal but I'm just wondering whether or not anyone else has experienced this. Thanks

    Coloured Surface Pens

Well, I think quite the opposite, especially with the blue pen. The purple button on the original pen doesn't match any other part of the surface, unless you get the purple type cover.

    Coloured Surface Pens

Every one must have a complete life then. Pretty much everything has different options and people pick them for a reason; the type cover for example, which is available with 6 different colours. But anyway, having a complete life is a good thing, right?

    Coloured Surface Pens

Yeah I know that. I'm just wondering if anyone's thinking of buying a new pen, perhaps to match their type cover (of the Pro).

    Coloured Surface Pens

I noticed on Microsoft's blog that the Surface pens would be available in new colours and presumably, they'll work on the Surface Pro 3. Is anyone thinking of buying one for their Pro? I really like the look of the blue one.

    Error 0xc0000034

Well, for anyone wondering, I took the Surface back to the store today and I was immediately given a replacement and the new one is perfect.

    Error 0xc0000034

Unfortunately, there's no control panel on an error screen. I can't boot into Windows at all.

    Error 0xc0000034

I just tried that with the same result as before. I also found another USB key to try, but once again, it didn't work. Disabling safe boot didn't alter the device but did alter my vision after foolishly rebooting in a dark room. I might just have to take it to the store... I was hoping to avoid...

    Error 0xc0000034

Interestingly, I used the recovery USB just two days ago. I don't have the large download anymore so I removed the file off the USB, reformatted the USB, and dragged it back in and the result is still the same. I'll see if I can find another to try anyway.

    Error 0xc0000034

Thanks although I have already tried to perform that process, hence my question here. I have used a recovery USB before but my issue is that it won't even boot from there. The Surface logo flashes, as it should when booting from the USB, but it leads to the same blue screen that booting...

    Error 0xc0000034

Hey, Recently I had an issue with my Surface Pro 3 not booting up. I resolved this by reinstalling with the a bootable USB containing the recovery software from Microsoft. A day later, it wouldn't boot up again, but rather than staying at a black screen, it results in a blue screen-esque error...

Top metal bezel of the Surface not completely flush

Ok, thanks! I feel better not knowing it's a specific defect on mine.

Top metal bezel of the Surface not completely flush

Hi, I just noticed that the point where the material/colour changes on the top of my Surface Pro is not completely flush. I heard it is normal but interestingly the left side, near the power button is much worse. Is that normal? Thanks
