    Where is my WIN 8.1 disk & product key?

    If you want to create a recovery key, there are instructions here: Create a USB recovery drive - Windows Help Surface Pro 3 is provisioned with an OEM activation (OA) 3.0 key that is put directly into the BIOS. When you system goes online, it will try to activate using that key.
