Got my FedEx shipping confirmation

Just pre-ordered the SP4 I5/256GB model w/ the blue Type Cover. I wanted to purchase the dock, but they're out of stock.

Loading apps, loading larger PDF files, installing apps / updates.

Sent my S3 back -- just too slow for me unfortunately.

I never had an S2 -- always had a need to run real apps. I had my SP2, loved it, got an SP3, hated it, now got the S3 and hoping to love it. I do note that the sleep battery drain is improved on here -- only 1% drain over night. I guess I was hoping for an SP2 replacement (with focus on 10")...

I did notice the CPU idles at 0.5GHz -- but as soon as clicking something, it moves right up.

So...it's a nice device. Slim, lightweight, doesn't get hot like the SP3, doesn't seem to be affected by the WiFi issues that plagued the SP3 either. That being said -- the device feels a little more sluggish than even my SP2 with Core i5 CPU. Things like updating Windows or installing apps...

I don't care about specs, persay. I have 3 or 4 apps that I run...our CRM, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook. My concerns with the SP3 were that it was too large, it got too hot, fans were always spinning, the WiFi bug, and battery drain while sleep. If the S3 can run my apps and address the...

Of course, UPS put an "incomplete" address on my package -- that being said tracking says it has been corrected and delivery rescheduled. Hoping that it still comes today as it was already on the truck!
