    Surface RT, anyone ever found a GPS that workis with it

    Charlie, I have found a couple of apps in the MS Store that refer to an external GPS device for the RT. However, nothing I have found in documentation says the RT can support an external device. If I had a local store that would sell an USB GPS device, I would get it and try it out...

    Add GPS to Surface Pro or Surface Pro 2

    I have recently downloaded the HereNow maps for the RT, not sure if it will work on the Pro or Pro2. However, what I like about HereNow is that you can download maps to run when not connected to a WIFI. Steve

    Thanks... I did find something yesterday on the MS Apps Store that had GPS maps work if you connected an external device. But that is all it said. :(

    Does anyone know if the above item can be used in a Surface RT or if there is any USB or BT device that will work with it?

    I just recently purchased a Surface RT and found it doesn't have a built-in GPS. Has anyone purchased an external GPS device and if so, would you recommend it? Thanks Steve
