Thanks for the replies although I am a bit more of a novice. I don't have the monitors yet. I like the sound of the daisy chain option. Are all modern monitors made with DP?

Can anyone guide me as to how to run two monitors from a surface pro - what leads and splitter boxes do I need? Thanks in advance.

I have read that it only works with metro apps otherwise you have to open the keyboard manually. I would like to know if there are alternatives to the stock keyboard like there are on Android.
