    The LAN speed is the only draw back I see to the docking station. I think MS cheaped out with not going Gigabit.

    Mine would do the same thing. Sometimes boot, sometimes stuck on the UEFI, sometimes the repair screen. MS had to replace my unit although it took them a frigging month. I'm not bitter am I?

    So true! The sad thing is I had to escalate my replacement up through 3 different departments before I got the replacement, which took almost 1 month.

    A miracle actually happened today. Microsoft called the house and gave my wife a FedEx number. So it looks like they are shipping surface replacements again. Only a month to get one!
