I don't get notifications for new mail. Settings are correct, i have them turned on for mail, calendar, alarms, & IE. Everything else is turned off, plus all notifications are turned on except receiving calls. Any ideas? Windows 8.1

ok,ty...all worked well. Only issues so far, doesn't recognize my finger touch in google chrome sometimes & i have to use the pen. My bookmark toolbar is tiny, cant remember how to fix it.

I have not been prompted to upgrade to 8.1, & when I check for updates, it says no new updates are available. Didn't 8.1 officially come out last week?

Was wondering if anyone has this problem. I keep losing my HP printer & have to reinstall it on my SP about every month. Never have an issue with my Win 7 computer. It's been an issue since day one.

When i'm far from the router, the connection shows three bars but is slower than dogsnot. it has been this way for two days...when was that last update? I took my other computer to the same spot & worked fine so i'm thinkin' it's the SP.

why don't you try a router/modem from your provider & see if it's better. If not, take it back. time warner charges $5/mo for theirs.

i use the pen all the time. i got very frustrated using my fingers when i first got it, & started using the pen instead. sometimes your fingers work, & then they dont.

ok, I get that now but it doesn't show up in this instance. I am in a spread sheet typing this number...0877. When I go to the next cell it takes the "0" off & no lightning box. I'll just use a "O" for now I guess.

Where is "undo auto format" in excel/word 2013? I used to use works, but I had to upgrade b/c they no longer support works. I think I just right clicked in works & "undo auto format" came up but I can't find it in office. I see "undo" but that does not work for it.

I talked to microsoft support about this & they said that it comes with Defender & that is all you need.
